On July 15th, in the height of summer, the annual barbecue event of Interlink Direct Ltd was successfully held at our headquarters. In this lively and dynamic summer day, our employees and their families and friends gathered together to create warm and unforgettable memories.

This barbecue event was not only a team-building activity, but also an occasion for our employees to communicate and connect more closely. Under the collaborative effort of our team, we cooked a variety of delicious barbecue dishes, including chicken wings, kebabs, seafood, and beef. Meanwhile, everyone enjoyed playing games and sharing joy and laughter together.

During this event, we set aside departmental, positional, and racial differences, seeing only a caring and respectful family. We look forward to maintaining this substantial team cohesion in the long term and eagerly anticipate our new "family members" integrating into this large family swiftly, to create more wonderful memories with us.

This year Interlink Direct Ltd Annual Dinner was held at the London Regatta Centre-Yi Ban restaurant on a splendid Saturday night in March. We all shared a memorable and exciting night with all staff, their family and friends. Why is was exciting? Many extraordinary gifts and cash prizes were ready for all our colleagues and guests.

It is incredible how time had gone so fast. We are sure our colleagues are looking forward to Annual Dinner next year. See you in 2023.

Interlink Direct Ltd 20th Anniversary Annual Dinner

Lantern Festival, the festival to admire the lanterns, wish for prosperous for ahead of us and most importantly, family reunion. On this festive occasion, Interlink Annual Dinner 2020 was held at the London Regatta Centre-Yi Ban restaurant. 

Interlink Direct Ltd was established in 2000 and twenty springs are little room. The whole team organized and planned together for this annual dinner. In the end, the hard works led a successful night for this 20th Anniversary of the company. The prize draw event included generous gifts and cash prizes for every staff. Each valuable guest also receives a tasty gift pack to remember the night. Additionally, we invited one of the heavyweight performer– Magician Christopher Howell, who presented an exquisite performance for our colleagues and families to enjoy.

A happy moment is always a transient, but this feast left us more aftertastes. Summarize the past, anticipate the future. There is still a long way to go. Ride the wind and break the waves, to open the future. The 20th anniversary celebration is a milestone for the development of Interlink Direct Ltd; it is a new starting point for a new journey. Twenty years ago, Interlink was found from home office; today, we have more than 70,000 square feet of logistics and storage facility in London, United Kingdom. The company has grown from nothing and continued to expand every year. From the very beginning, we worked hard to maintain a spirit of earnestness, sincerity, hard work and innovation. We have been through a steep road to have today’s achievement. Expanding our horizons and building our profession during challenges along the journey.

Chinese Food Festival 2019

The 5th UK Chinese Food Festival was held in London next to Potters Fields Park on the River Thames from 30th August to 1st September for three consecutive days. The event attracted around 40,000 visitors from all over the world. This food festival is the only official Chinese food culture festival of its kind in the UK. Whether the Chinese reside in London or the westerner who wants to know about the Chinese food culture, they come over to taste the oriental cuisine.

As a premium oriental food importer and distributor, how can we miss the annual event! At here, we are very grateful to following brands full support: Bai Jia, Hui Ji, Rio, Strong, I-Mei, Royal family, and Moon-lit Invitation. We brought in different Asian snacks in this food festival, including noodles, Taiwanese mochi, traditional Chinese snacks, cocktail drinks, jelly, Taiwanese ice cream, mooncakes, etc. We have attracted countless London citizens and tourists to taste and to buy; most importantly let them feel the Chinese food culture.

This year fair show was a great success and have won the public's favorite. All the goods sold out successfully. If you have missed the event this year, don't worry, all of our top tier products can be found in Oriental supermarkets all over the UK.

Interlink Direct Ltd Team Building Day

Whether to boost morality, enhance cohesion, or reward excellent outcomes, many companies favour team-building exercises. Interlink aims to provide more exciting experiences to assist a team to bond. A thrilling Go Kart event and unique experience on escaped game were arranged on 7th June 2019. We take this opportunity to encourage our staffs to have a relaxing experience outside the workplace.

The International Food & Drink event is one of the top four globalised Food and Beverage Exhibition. It is also the most large and influential exhibition in Europe.

On Wednesday 23rd February, Interlink Annual Dinner 2019 was held at London Regatta Centre-Yiban Restaurant. Over 70 people are gathered to enjoy an evening of beautiful food, entertainment and surprises. Apart from our traditional show of Lucky Draw, we also invited multi-award-winning magician Oliver Ward as a special guest, his amazing performance brought us a lot of joy!

Another wonderful time at our company's annual dinner. We celebrated another successful 2018 and look forward to the exciting things in store for us in 2019!

Great Taste Awards 2018

The Guild of Fine Food aims to provide the market with “Artistic Cuisine” in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The annual Great Taste Awards, hosted by The Guild of Fine Food, is one of the UK's largest and most prestigious food and beverage awards. The Guild of Fine Food judges thousands of food and beverage products every year and only the most outstanding products received the star awards.

 The professional jury of The Guild of Fine Food believes that "only the best foods and the most delicious drinks can be worthy of the Great Taste Awards logo."

Interlink Direct Ltd's products have won awards for three consecutive years, and the judges have well received the Oriental Foods. This year's award-winning products include "Royal Family" Japanese-Style Matcha & Azuki Bean Mochi and "Honor" Pork and Mushroom Hand Made Dumplings.

"Royal Family" Mochi range is the leading star product in Taiwan. The company was founded in 1986 and specializes in mochi and traditional snacks. "Royal Family" won the ‘Taiwan Top 100 Enterprises’ ‘Taiwan First Brand Award’ ‘2013 Taiwan Benchmarking Enterprise Award’, and not their products are entering the international scene. This award-winning Japanese-Style Matcha & Azuki Bean Mochi retains the traditional practice method and replaces the preservative with trehalose so that every grain of the potato is soft and elastic even after chilling. Moreover, without adding artificial colours, the natural extracts are used to present the natural colour of the outer skin, both the taste and health are both taken care of.

London Chinese Food Festival 2018 & JiangXiaoBai Tasting Event

London's annual Chinese Food Festival has the reputation of “The Ultimate Guide to the Tip of the Tongue.” From August 31 to September 2, over hundreds of authentic Chinese delicacies were provided by more than 20 merchants at the Tower Bridge. The festival successfully attracted thousands of people from across London.

Among them, the famous Baijiu brand “JiangXiaoBai” from Chongqing came to London with a craze. It is not only a new star of sorghum wine but also a dark horse in the mixed drink world, rejuvenating the passion and vitality of youth. As a distributor of JiangXiaoBai liquor in the UK, Interlink Direct Ltd was fortunate to participate in the exhibition together. Every day, the people in front of the booth were full of enthusiasm. After drinking cocktails prepared using JiangXiaoBai, Chinese and foreigners were all in love.

Besides, Interlink Direct Ltd also held the “The Renaissance of the Old Flavor” tasting event in Bun House Tea Room, London. Many major Chinese restaurants and supermarkets in London participated. JiangXiaoBai is a light-flavor Chinese baijiu, the fruity aroma and sweet aftertaste bring freshness and coolness to the classic cocktail practice. The on-site bartenders paired with classic cocktail recipes to bring a new taste experience and rave reviews.

This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which states out that we, Interlink Direct Ltd, have taken and are taking actions to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our supply chain or in any part of our business. We are a well-established, high-quality food and beverage importer and distributor based in London, UK. We source a wide range of quality products and supply to both large and small Oriental Supermarkets, Cash & Carry outlets and retailers throughout UK and Ireland. Our UK office is in Essex, with ambient warehouse and frozen. The company has an annual turnover of £14 million.

Interlink Direct Ltd considers that modern slavery encompasses:

• Forced work, through mental or physical threat;
• Being owned or controlled by an employer through mental or physical abuse of the threat of abuse;

Our supply chains include the sourcing of raw material principally related to the provision of food and beverages.

Our Policies On Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our anti-slavery policy, together with our honest and ethical behaviour, reflects our commitment to acting ethically and integrity in all our business relations. We also implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and diminish any area of risks, we have in place systems and procedures:

• We will review current conditions and states of our supply chain
• All employees are encouraged to notify if they have any concerns that slavery and human trafficking is taking place.
• We carry out a variety of checks and reviews to ensure that suppliers we engage with have sufficient capability and capacity to comply with our policy.
• Where possible we build long standing relationships with local and abroad suppliers and make clear our expectations of business behaviour.

Further Steps to be Undertaken

Following the overall review of the effectiveness of measures we have taken to ensure there is no human slavery or trafficking taking place in our supply chain, we intend to take the following further steps to combat this.

• Training will be developed and provided to relevant member of staff
• Certain suppliers may be asked to produce a statement or report, setting out steps they have taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of their business. We may request this where we see certain parts of our supply chain has an increased risk of slavery or human trafficking.

Interlink Direct is excited to be one of the official sponsors of the 2016 China-Britain Chinese New Year Extravaganza, to celebrate the arrival of the Year of Monkey with all the families and friends from all over the UK.

This event will be held in the evening of 7th Feb 2016, which is the Chinese New Year’s Eve. This is the 4th year of such annual event and it marks the very first collaborated event between the Cross-Strait China Culture Communication Foundation, UK Chinese Dance & Culture Association, and the UK-China Economics and Cultural Promotion Association, supported by the Chinese Embassy in the UK. The variety show aims to promote the cultural exchange between the Chinese and British and to bring the most authentic Chinese New Year traditions to the UK, offering Chinese expats, British Chinese and Chinese overseas students living abroad a warm sense of being home away from home.

This performance features a fascinating mix of Chinese, British, Russian, and Indian artists, singers and children group performers covering a number of intriguing programs, including Chinese Dragon and Lion dance, Chinese Monkey Dance, Chinese Kung Fu, traditional Chinese dance, folk music and talk show.

Interlink Direct Ltd has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses.

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.
